Log on to http://fantasygames.espnstar.com/superselector and register yourself once. All you will need is a valid email id to register a team. You get three teams per email id and your email will need to be validated before you can build a team. If you have played Super Selector before or are a registered Gamezone user, use your existing login and start playing.
2. How many teams can I build?
Each registered user, with a valid email id, is allowed only three teams.
3. I have forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?
Just enter your email address in the user name and click on "retrieve password". A window will open telling you the password is emailed to the address. If your user email is wrong you will get an error message.
Each cricket player scores points according to their performance on the field for any particular match day as a batsman, bowler, fielder or wicket keeper.
Super Selector player points are scored as follows :
Bonus points are now available for the following
Points for Wicket-Keeper dismissals are awarded to the player "wearing the gloves" at the time of the dismissal. Substitute players who effect catches, stumping or run-outs will score appropriate points for each dismissal.
All player categories can score points for all actions. i.e. it's not just designated batsmen who score points for runs. For example, in a one-day international between India and Australia, MS Dhoni scores 59 runs, takes 2 catches and 3 run-outs, he amasses a total of 168 points as broken-down below.
59 points for 59 runs
10 points for two catches
15 points for three run-outs
5 bonus points for a half century
If he was selected as your captain he would score 173 points [2x(59+10+15)+5] as bonus points are not doubled.
Official scorecards define all points awarded.
Cricket players only score points for your Super Selector Team when they are actively in your Super Selector Team. Points are NOT added retrospectively. Points displayed on the Player Lists are cumulative totals for the scoring period of the game.
5. Will a player appear in more than one category?
Yes however, you cannot select the same player in more than one category within your team. The player in question will score as per his performance in the real life match.
Eg. You can't have Rahul Dravid as a batsman and as a wicket-keeper in your team. It has to be one or the other, but not both.
6. How often and when is the game updated?
Super Selector game is updated after every match day's play is over.
The current Super Selector is divided into two parts. The first part (Stage 1) is the India-South Africa Test series. The second part (which includes Stages 2 and 3) is the upcoming Indian Premier League.
Substitutions for the India-South Africa series will be allowed only on a weekly basis. Any new participant can come and join the weekly game.
For example: At the end of the 1st Game (26-30 March) the team can be changed before 3rd April Jan and after 30th March. In all practical purposes the participants can select a complete new team.
You can, however, form a new team in between the week as per the rule of three teams per log-in. In this case you will get points only for the remaining match days and not retrospectively. Also, please note that teams cannot be registered while the day’s play is on.
Once the second part of the Game gets underway, starting April 18, substitutions will be allowed up to one hour before the start of the match.
8. The scoring is wrong. The totals for my team and on the player list don't match. Why?
Cricket players score points for your Super Selector Team only when they are actively in your Super Selector Team. Points are NOT added retrospectively. Points displayed on the Player Lists are cumulative totals for the scoring period of the game. They are designed to aid you in selecting 'form' players.
For instance, if Tendulkar scores 200 points on Wednesday 26th and you substitute him into your team on Thursday 27th and he scores no more points during the rest of that month then your Team will gain 0 points from the selection of Tendulkar (even though he may be one of the highest points scorers for the month).
9. Can I change my registration info?
Yes you can. But please remember you can never change the email Id you register with. So please ensure the email id you play Super Selector with is a valid one. All communications with you happen to this email id only.
For the India-South Africa Test series, you can only change your team on a weekly basis. For the IPL matches, you can change your team up to one hour before every match. See FAQ 7 for more details

13. Is there any limit to the number of teams in APNA league?
